- Which documents should I upload?
- Answer:
You need to upload scanned documents in pdf format to prove your identity and your qualifications:
- “Personbevis” from Skatteverket. The personbevis should not be older than three months. If you are unable to obtain a “personbevis” (identity document), you can send a copy of your passport (for EU/EEC citizens) or a copy of your passport and proof of a submitted application for a residence permit. The passport pages that we require copies of are those with the name and other individual information.
- Information about name changes should also be included if you have a name on your certificates that is different to your current name. You can ask for a “personbevis” (extract from the population register) with information about former names, or enclose a marriage certificate, for example.
- Degree certificates in the original language and translated where necessary. A degree certificate is a document that shows what programme you studied and proves that you were awarded a degree.
- A personal official transcript – a list of the courses that were included in your degree in the original language and with a translation where necessary. The official transcript should state (primarily for higher education and post-secondary vocational education):
- the subjects included in your degree
- how long you studied each subject (in credits)
- whether you wrote a degree project
- the grade you received in each subject
- What you should upload for your upper-secondary education depends on the country in which you studied. Sometimes your subjects are included on the certificate and only one paper is needed, while another country would mean that you have to submit an official transcript and a certificate.
