If you have an education from Afghanistan you need to - before applying for an recognition of your education från UHR - verify your educational documents aswell as your identity with the Embassy of Afghanistan in Stockholm.

- Higher education from Cameroon, Canada, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Nigeria or the US?
If you have higher education from one of these countries, you must ask the higher education institution to send an official transcript straight to:

- I haven’t completed my higher education – what do I do?
The Swedish Council for Higher Education only evaluates completed qualifications, so it is not possible to have part of your qualification/education evaluated.
If you have not completed your higher educational qualification and want to continue studying in Sweden, you should contact the higher education institution at which you want to study. They can provide you with information about how to apply to have your credits transferred.

If you are lacking documentation of all or part of your foreign higher education, (academic or post-secondary vocational education), you can apply to UHR for a background paper instead of a recognition statement. To apply for a background paper you need to fill in an additional form and upload it here at the online application, step 6.
